34 year old Sean Gibson , of Vistabella Trinidad, represented this country , at the T & T Special Olympics , in Los Angeles, in 2015.

He Represented T &T in China in 2017.

His body was discovered, at around 10:15 am on Saturday, at M2 Ring Road Woodland, Trinidad.
His Body was identified by his father at 9:30 pm yesterday.
May his soul rest in peace.

MURDER IN MORVANT: INNOCENT MAN KILLED BY ANGRY ‘RUDE BOYS’ IN THE GHETTO

On September 8, 2019, a fight took place amongst some ‘rude boys’ from the Chinapoo, Morvant area.

Threats were passed and all parties went their respective ways.

However, shortly after midnight, some of the men returned and fired several wild shots. It was then, a passerby discovered Quame Dunbar, 25, with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Alert T&T was told that Dunbar was not involved in any fight but was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

He was described as a ‘rel cool fella’ by his peers.

MURDER IN LA FILLETTE

La Fillette man shot dead
The family of a La Fillette man was fatally shot on Saturday are still trying to understand why he was killed.

37-year old Shawn Williams was fatally shot on the Independence Day holiday and taken to the Blanchisseuse Health Centre, where he died. Relatives told Guardian Media they had little information as to what transpired, apart from a phonecall at 5.05 am, when they were alerted to the fact that he had been shot and taken to the Health Centre.

Williams was a fisherman who also worked as an occasional groundsman for the National Maintenance Training and Security Company.

An autopsy on Williams is expected to take place at the Forensic Science Centre today.

MURDER IN SIPARIA: WOMAN CHOPPED TO DEATH BY MALE RELATIVEA Siparia woman was chopped to death this morning shortly after she woke up to prepare her nine-year-old son for his first day of the new school term.Selene Sankar, said to be in her 30s, was reportedly attacked at her home at La Brea Trace, Siparia, by a male relative.Police have mounted a search for the suspect, in his 40s, who reportedly grabbed a piece of rope and told neighbours, “This is it for me,” as he ran off into a forested area.Initial reports are that at 5-5.30 am, Sankar got into an argument with the male relative. The argument escalated and he reportedly chopped her several times.As she fell to the floor, the man grabbed the piece of rope and fled.Siparia police received a domestic violence report around 6-6.30 am . When they got to the house, they found Sankar’s body. The body was removed to the Forensic Sciences Centre.The child, who was in the house at the time of the incident, was taken to safety by neighbours and later handed over to a relative.Police said he will receive counselling.

Marabella teenager found dead:

Marabella police have said that around 9.30 on Tuesday, a 15-year-old schoolgirl was found dead at her home at Toruba Road, San Fernando.

Police say the teenager’s mother left the girl with her younger sister at 8.30 am to run errands.
When she returned home the mother found her elder daughter dead. It appeared she may have taken her own life.

SHOOTING IN CAURA: COUPLE SHOT

A man identified as Jahway Adams was reportedly shot multiple times in CAURA while his female companion was shot twice in the leg 🦵.

Adams is said to be in a critical condition.

UPDATE: The 16-year-old boy that was shot and killed in Laventille last night has been identified as Akil Phillips.
Phillips was at Block 22 around 9:30 pm, when gunshots were heard.
Residents upon investigation, found the teenager suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

MURDER IN MORVANT

A man identified as Dominic Collins was shot during a robbery at a car wash located at Morvant Old Road around 5pm this afternoon.

The victim was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

MURDER IN D’ABADIE: TWO WOMEN SHOT, ONE DEAD

The girlfriend of a well known, shooter and murder accused was shot multiple times about the body this morning following a shooting incident at Reid Lane in D’abadie.

According to reports, two women were liming on the block when they allegedly gave some men an ‘attitude’

Sources said that the men returned and opened fire on the two women.

The first woman, a mother of two, was shot multiple times about the body, where she was listed in a critical condition.

She succumbed to her injuries today.

The other woman was shot twice and is to be in a critical but stable condition (no photo). She remains hospitalized.

*15-yr-old San Juan girl found dead at home*

Police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl who was found dead at her home in San Juan earlier this week.

The deceased has been identified as Natisha Frederick from San Juan.

She was found dead around 1:10 pm on Monday in her bedroom at the family’s San Juan home.

She had previously complained about feeling unwell with several stomach pains and was allegedly given saffron tea and some other unprescribed medication by her relatives, which were found next to her bed.

An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the cause of death.

Investigations are continuing.
