MURDER IN POINT FORTIN: MAN KILLED WHILE SLEEPING

A man identified as George Crichlow, 49, was shot dead around 1am this morning at his Cap-De-Ville Point Fortin home while he slept.

His relative told Alert T&T that Crichlow was a very friendly, hard working person who always looked out for the youths in the area. His death is a shocker to the family as they are still trying to figure out what someone would want to kill him.

MURDER IN TRINICITY: ONE DEAD, ONE RUSHED TO HOSPITALTwo persons were shot tonight at 1st Street, Cane Farm Road in Trincity.One of the men identified as Kevon Archibald also known as Archie was shot dead at the scene whilst Richard also known as Fats , a taxi driver was wounded and rushed to the hospital.Our sources indicated that Fats was not the target of the gunmen.Developing story, expect more in updates.

MURDER IN DIEGO MARTIN: MANGO DAWG KILLED

A man identified as Marlon also known as Mango Dawg was shot and killed by the Basketball Court in River Estate in Diego Martin.

According to a report, the gunman shot the victim,then walked off. The gunman returned again, emptied the entire magazine on the deceased, searched the victim, then walked off again.

SHOOTING IN ST JOSEPH: DRUG DEALER SHOT THE WRONG PERSONS; WOMAN AMONG TWO INJURED.

A shooting incident in an area commonly known as ‘Bangladesh’ in St Joseph has left two persons injured.
The shooting happened while a group of persons were having a Father’s Day lime around 11:45pm.

A man known as a drug dealer in the area, came to the lime and opened fire. Sources said that a total of 14 shots were fired.

The woman, Rhoda Walters, was shot three times. She sustained gunshot wounds to both legs and buttocks while a young man in the area who is currently unidentified was shot in both legs.

Both persons were taken to the hospital but, it is confirmed that Walters was discharged.

The bullets were not removed from Walters.

In our most recent update, Walters is experiencing pain the buttocks area and is about to return to a health facility.

Residents said told Alert T&T that the police did sloppy job as they only recovered two projectiles from the scene. They however, found two more spent shells from the shooting on the roadway.

Sources say the intended target of the gunman was the woman’s son and nephew. They both escaped unharmed.

The suspect is said to be in police custody without the firearm used in the shooting.

St Joseph police are investigating.

Tunapuna father, daughter murdered

A Tunapuna man and his two-year-old daughter died at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex on Friday night after they were shot.

Police reports said around 7.30pm the Command Centre received a broadcast on a shooting at Bamboo Road, Tunapuna.

Police arrived and escorted Stefhon Mc Cloud, a known drug offender, and his daughter Aniya Mc Cloud to hospital, where they both died.

A motive for the killings has not yet been ascertained.

MURDER IN LA ROMAINE: TWO SUSPECTS HELD, TWO ON THE RUN, FIREARM RECOVEREDPolice told Alert T&T that two persons were held and a firearm recovered following the fatal shooting of Shaquille Cardinal also known as Zoobat at Temple Street in La Romaine.Two suspects are still on the run.

MURDER IN OROPUNEThere are reports which suggest that two persons were shot tonight in Oropune Gardens.One person is said to be dead. He is identified as alias MOUSE.Now happen so wait for updates.

MURDER IN MANZANILLA
The body of a melon vendor was found by a Prison Officer on Sunday morning, lying on the side of the road in Manzanilla.

The man has been identified as Mickey Rambally (alias Ras), a 56-year-old melon vendor of Kernaham Trace, Manzanilla.

When found, Rambally was lying face-up and his body bore several chop wounds. A shirt covered in blood was tied around the upper part of his left arm, and he was clad in a pair of dark blue boxer briefs.

Police reports are that at about 5 am on Sunday, a Prison Officer (of Guppy Hill Trace, Union Village, Rio Claro) was driving his vehicle north along Manzanilla Road, when he observed a dark object lying motionless on the eastern side of the road. The object appeared to be that of a human being.

The Prison Officer made a report to the Mayaro Police Station and Corporal Arjoon, PCs Ramkissoon, Nanko , Humprey of Mayaro police responded.

The officers were later joined by crime scene officers of Eastern ERP CSI, along with Sgt Ramsahai and PC Bedaisee of Arouca Homicide Bureau, Region Two.

The body was found roughly 55 feet away from where the deceased occupied a small wooden structure. Police found the front door broken down and covered with blood stains. Further checks revealed that the inside of the wooden structure as well as a mattress and some clothing were covered in blood.

A blood-stained cutlass also was found on the scene and seized by police.

Police believe that Rambally was attacked by his killer while he was asleep, but managed to put up a fight. Investigators say he probably ran out of the structure in an attempt to seek help, using his shirt to tie the wound on his hand, but collapsed at the side of the roadway and died.
District Medical Officer Dr Jones visited the scene, viewed the body and ordered its removal to the Sangre Grande Hospital mortuary, from where it will be taken to the Forensic Science Centre, St James for a post-mortem.

PC Bedaisee of Arouca Homicide Bureau Region Two is continuing investigations.

Sister, brother shot dead as gunmen storm home

Vishal Chitbahal, 25, and his 23-year-old sister, Vishanie

Armed men entered a family’s home at Windsor Park, Couva, on Thursday morning and shot dead two siblings.
They have been identified as Vishal Chitbahal, 25, and his 23-year-old sister, Vishanie.
The siblings lived with their parents.

Police said the family was asleep when two gunmen entered at around 1am….

DOUBLE MURDER IN DIEGO MARTIN: INNOCENT MAN KILLED, INTENDED TARGET DIED AT HOSPITAL

Around 12:50pm today gunman opened fire at Covigne Road in Diego Martin.

Their intended target was hit and taken to the hospital. He was listed in a critical condition however he succumbed to his injuries. He was later identified as Wesley Harewood also known as Snipes. Harewood was known to police.

In the same shooting incident, an innocent man identified as Francis “Hiace” Pierre, 72, was shot dead. Photos of Perre’s body circulated on social media.

Pierre was a retired WASA employee, a pensioner and a devout Christian.

He was described as a cool and outstanding community member. The source extends their condolences to the family.

Many who know Pierre express their shock and sadness over his untimely passing.

The gunmen escaped in a waiting vehicle.

Kevon Bernard was shot once to the head, while his wife and her two infant daughters were spared by the killer.
At around 3.55 a.m. the gunman broke into the wooden house at Uriah Butler Extension, New Village.
