Woman killed with a hail of bullets in Arima… Mom of daughter murdered in Arima: She was killed because she was having an affair with a married Coast Guard officer… 26-year-old Rianna Victoria Mohammed of Mc Inroy Street, Curepe, was shot dead at Hoyte Avenue, Maturita in Arima on Wednesday 17th August, 2022. Mohammed, who loved to party, lime and drink with friends, her mother told us, had absolutely no legitimate reason to be in the area where she was killed. Her mother believes she was put in place to be killed by a man known to her. Mohammed was a former employee at Pennywise in Grand Bazaar but did not have her co yracy renewed because of the partying lifestyle she lived. Around 10 am on today’s date information was received from an anonymous informant of a body lying motionless in a busy road off the Caparo BRASSO Valley Road, BRASSO. No 20283 Pc DADO driving marked police vehicle TEB 7280 in company with no 9804 WPC CADOGAN responded and upon arrival trekked approximately 100 ft into said bushy roadway and observed what appeared to be the body of a man wrapped in black polyethylene plastic on the right side of the said road with just the face showing. The body was approximately 5’8” in length, dark complexion, ethnicity unknown a gold tooth to the right of it’s mouth, with moustache, with it’s head facing North. Dr Indalsingh visited the scene. Couple shot, husband dies in Enterprise shooting.

29-year-old Dwayne Robinson and his wife 41-year-old Allison Vialva-Robinson were shot while sitting outside their Goodwill Road, Enterprise Chaguanas home around 8:45pm on Monday 25th July, 2022.

A Nissan AD wagon pulled up and the occupants opened fire on the victims.

They were conveyed to the Chaguanas District Health Facility where Dwayne was declared dead. Allison was treated for a gunshot injury to her right buttocks.

This is the second homicide within the Enterprise community within less than 24 hours. Last night, 18-year-old Shirod Richard’s was gunned down outside a shoo at Tobago Road Ext. Enterprise Chaguanas.

 Joel Williams, of East Dry River, was shot by an unknown gunman at Broadway and South Quay around 12.15 pm. 

The 30-year-old was standing in the vicinity of Maraj Jewellers when the gunman, who was clad in long black pants and a jersey bearing the logo of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), walked up to him and opened fire. 

Williams was shot in the head, and as he fell to the ground – the gunman ran towards Sea Lots. 

Passersby alerted the police and first responders took the injured man to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was treated and warded in a stable condition. 

Officers of the Port-of-Spain Task Force responded and searched the Sea Lots area but was unable to locate the suspect. 

SHOOTING IN DIEGO MARTIN

There is a report of a shooting which took place in Diego Martin on Friday night.

This incident took place shortly before 9pm at Gookool Street.

The victim has been identified Isaiah Pritchard alias “Project”.

Pritchard was subsequently taken to hospital 🏥 for medical treatment where he is listed in a critical condition.

MURDER IN ST. JAMES

There are reports of a shooting which took place at Belle Vue, St. James on Friday afternoon.

Shortly before 3pm a lone gunman confronted Wade Parris in the vicinity of the Community Center and shot him several times.

Parris was subsequently taken to the hospital 🏥 for medical treatment where he died.

MURDER IN DIEGO MARTIN

There are reports of a drive by shooting which took place in Diego Martin on Wednesday morning.

Around 10:30am a group of men were liming by a shop located at the “Duck Farm” Blue Basin Road, Diego Martin when the occupants of a silver AD wagon open fire on them.

Collin Renn alias “Ziggy” of Cizan Trace, Blue Basin were observed nursing shot wounds. Two other men were also graze.

Renn was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical treatment where he died.

WOMAN KILLED IN DIEGO MARTIN

A woman identified only as “Marty” from Quarry Street, Diego Martin was innocently gunned down during a shooting on Diego Martin Main Road in front Rocky’s on Saturday night.

The intended target identified only as “Chica” of Green Hill Village, Diego Martin was shot and is presently warded in a critical condition at hospital.

A SIPARIA WOMAN WAS FOUND HAMMERED TO DEATH AT HER HOME ON FRIDAY 17TH JUNE, 2022, DAYS AFTER SHE WAS LAST SEEN ALIVE BY RELATIVES.

The victim has been identified as 47-year-old URP worker Leann Babb who lived at Rito Ville, Siparia.

Babb’s decomposing body was found at her home by police officers who responded to a report from relatives had gotten a stench from the woman’s home on Friday afternoon.

Relatives went looking for Babb after calls to her cell phone went unanswered.

Police had to break into the woman’s house in order to gain access. Her body was found wrapped in a bed sheet and a bloodied hammer was found nearby along with a cutlass.

VAMPA SHOT IN COCORITE

Police said around 2:30pm, 21-year-old Elijah Samuel aka “Vampa” of Upper Cocorite Terrace, Cocorite, was at Bullong Shop, Freedom Street, when he was approached by a man.

The suspect, police said, was dressed in police tactical wear. He shot Samuel multiple times about the body before escaping.

Police officers took the victim to the St. James Medical Complex where he was treated and transferred to the Port of Spain General Hospital in serious condition.

Crime Scene Investigations recovered 10 spent shells from the scene.
